Darn. I couldn't get B1000 at the library last week. It's not on my TFT reading list, but I felt like reading it for the challenge. Too bad. Better get it when I go back to return my books!

Hungry and Humiliated

I'm really hungry right now, and I really don't want to go to school tomorrow. I don't know what I'm in the mood for, but I just want to eat SOMETHING! ^smacks lips^And I am deeply humiliated. Yes, I've heard it before, I can't be good at everything, and everyone has faults, but I am HORRIBLE at P.E.! I mean, we had kickball today, and I was so nervous. First, we had to jog around the gym for two minutes and do 10 pushups and 20 situps. I'm super bad at that. too. The first time I went up to "bat", I couldn't kick the ball. Second time, same thing. Guess what? My gym teacher actually yelled, "Stop dilly dallying. Hurry up and kick the ball!" And he's the one who's, like, sixty something. Third time, I actually kicked it, but I didn't run. He gave me a dirty look. He's so horrible. The kid everybody hates in our class actually used me as a joke so that he can climb up the social ladder. Ughh. I REALLY don't want to go to school, tomorrow.

Gossip Girl::Cecily von Ziegesar

Serena van der Woodsen is back, and she looks like a hobo. She expects Blair Waldorf, her used to be best friend, to be her best friend once again, while Blair continues to ignore her and be a snob, and throw up. Serena and Blair live in a world where teenagers are free to do what they want. They smoke pot, have access to alcohol whenever they want, and everything they possibly want, as long as they don't humiliate their family image. And then there's the hunky piece of guy candy, Nate Archibald. Jenny and Dan Humphrey, Vanessa Abrams, and Chuck Bass all come between the not so sweet threesome.

Overall, I think the book is appropriate for teens. Talks about the BIG three letter word, like a lot, and there's cursing. But I do kind of like the depth of the book. Don't make the same mistakes they did!

still upset over the whole humiliation thing

Change of Heart::Jodi Picoult

This story revolves all around a death row prisoner, who is convicted of sexually molesting a child and a double murder, and his name happens to be Shay Bourne. As always, Jodi Picoult uses different points of view to weave the story together. There are June, Lucius, Maggie, and Father Michael to tell the story.

Shay Bourne suddenly has an urge to donate his heart to Claire Nealon, the sister of the girl he murdered. The story unfolds with many devastating things happening, and the past of others begin to tell you more about another character. Coincidentally I guess, Shay never gets to give the reader a piece of his mind.

I don't know if this is a good enough review, but I just have to say it was an awesome book. It won't be better than My Sister's Keeper(my opinion), but it'l be in a class of it's own.

I give it four-and-a-half stars.

Very Berry

Ohemgee! I visited this little cafe today called Very Berry, sort of like Pink Berry in LA. It is amazing! It is literally Fro-Yo! It has that sweet and tangy taste of vanilla yogurt and you can add as many toppings as you want! I'm totally going there everyday for spring break...(-:

The Goose Girl

Princess Anidori-Kiladra Talianna Isilee was born the Crown Princess Kildenree. She mostly spends her time with her aunt, her mother's sister. Ani plays with the swans and speaks their tongue. One day, after her father dies, Ani is told that she must leave for Bayern, the neighboring country, for she has been betrothed to the prince of Bayern. Her guards have a plan to put her lady-in-waiting, Selia, on the throne in place of Ani. Ani finally becomes a goose girl after many adventures in between, and meets a new friend, Enna. Will Ani be able to get her name back successfully? Will she have a happy ending? What about Enna?

I really liked this book. Plus, it would be allowed for the TFT, right? Back to the book. *spoilers*I liked it dealt with Ani's feelings, feeling neglected by her mother, finding comfort only in Falada and her father.
